2 Papers Won WWW 2018 Best Papers Award

28 May, 2018 by Tek Min Tan

Two conference papers that were co-authored by Dr. He Xiangnan, our Senior Research Fellow, won the WWW 2018 Best Paper Awards and Honorable Mention on 23 April 2018. The WWW (World Wide Web) is a prestigious conference to provide the world with a premier forum for discussion and debate about the evolution of the Web, the standardization of its associated technologies, and the impact of those technologies on society and culture. This conference brings together researchers, developers, users, and commercial ventures — indeed all those who are passionate about the Web and what it has to offer.

The two papers are “Aesthetic-based Clothing Recommendation” (Best Paper Honorable Mention) and “An Improved Sampler for Bayesian Personalized Ranking by Leveraging View Data” (Best Paper Award).
