Liqiang Nie Receives SIGMM Rising Star Award 2020

We want to congratulate our NExT alumni, Prof Liqiang Nie, for receiving the SIGMM Rising Star Award 2020.
Liqiang received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from NUS in 2013, under the supervision of Prof Tat-Seng Chua. He continued working as a research fellow with us from 2013 to 2016, before starting his tenure professorship at Shandong University. He is currently serving as the Dean of the Shandong AI Institute.
